Haste is the project name for Portland based artist Jasmine Wood. Having collaborated, recorded and performed with an array of musicians in Portland, Haste has evolved over time in both its sound and project members. At her core, Wood remains consistent in her use of fuzz and overall distorted melancholic composition. Wood released her debut EP of demos titled "Let's Touch Ourselves", self-recorded and released in 2013 at the age of 20, consisting of tracks that Wood had written as early as age 16. She later released in 2015 a second EP entitled "I Carried Rocks From The Water", self-recorded and self-released on both digital and cassette tape. Wood's debut full-length album: "Annabelle", was finally released in late winter of 2017. Again self-recorded, but this time released by local Portland cassette label Track & Field records.
